How 1600 x 1600 pixels in inches?

   User Avatar
There is no way to give a real answer for that. Pixels do not have a consistent size, so they can't be universally converted. Pixels change size depending on the density of the thing displaying them (72 dots per inch is typical for screens and 300 dpi is typically selected for something that will be printed as form of Quality Photo). For screens size differs based on "Pitch" of the screen(distance between two consecutive pixels) thus even small screens with low pitch value can display high resolutions! However, to simply measure the width and height of your monitor at high accuracy just use the "Jruler" application Download JRuler from here:JRULER

How has technology influenced the arts in the last century?

   User Avatar
Art has been known to man right from the very beginning as evidenced by the relics of the past. But certainly, technology has made it possible for new equipments to be taken advantage of and for new mediums to be used. There is also the option of digital art that will allow people to work with colors and images even without the most intensive training to create the best masterpieces. Many technological changes occurred during the Modernist period. These included photography, the invention of the color spectrum, etc. In the postmodern era, changes included computer-manipulated photography, digital media, etc. Many artists portrayed subject matter influenced conceptually by technology as well. For example, the futurists, who idealized the beauty and potentials of technology, but many artists also explored the negative effects, e.g. Patricia Picnicking - "Restless". Things like photography have made art easier than in the past. We now have a different variety in colors that can make our photos
stand out. Other improvements have been the convenience of measured gradients of paints. In the old days the artist would have to make their own paints; processing such things would be time consuming and hard to reproduce. Also technology has allowed us to make things like bridges, buildings, and new ways to do it with engineering. This has allowed for a spur in the art community, opening doors to various ways to express the artist's feelings. Technology has also completely redirected many forms of art. For example, there is much more reliance on graphic design in art and new techniques in film making today than there used to be. Graphic design tools are used for advertising and marketing, but can also be used to edit other art forms, such as photography or film.

How did early computer security work?

   User Avatar
When I hear the word "early computer security, all I can think of are human security men with guns, trying to protect the first huge computer from thieves trying to steal it. At that time, I don't think they were worrying about viruses as compare to real people stealing the computer which can take up to 6 people to carry. Then, I think people were the Virus you'll need protection from.

What are the different methods of securing data?

   User Avatar
The most obvious method is to do backups. This method of securing data is to make sure that data loss is avoided or minimized. This may be set automatically. You must manually set the type of files and location of important and sensitive information because these should be prioritized during backups. A great tool for making secure backups is Acronis. Another way to secure data is through encryption. Well-encrypted data is considered safe and secure because this data, should it be compromised in a data breach, will be rendered useless. They will not be able to access such data. While we are talking about access, another way of securing data would be limiting access to sensitive information. Human error makes up most of the data breaches. When only a select few have access to sensitive information, you also minimize the risk for human error. Another tool that I would recommend is to apply assessment of the data you have stored. You would have to sort which is important and which can be
discarded. The destruction of data ensures finality in unauthorized access. But the destruction must be done onsite and would follow protocol with how to discard data on different mediums, like hard disks, optical disks, tape, and even paper.

Is media spoiling your young generation or not?

   User Avatar
"Media" is a term that covers a vast array of information storage and delivery. It includes newspapers, magazines, books, radio, television, computer based storage and retrieval. Do newspapers spoil our young generation? Probably not. And on line news services are also not considered to be harmful to young people. No doubt, content is available that delivers poor moral messages to people, young and old. Content on social media sites is often of such a poor quality that it is barely understandable and of no value at all. It is far too general to arrive at an answer to the question. Some media are very good for children and teenagers, others are just the opposite. However, to blame a medium for harming a generation is simplistic and probably incorrect. Look to content carried by the medium to judge it, not the medium itself.
